Apple laptop: ordering from Amazon?????

Does anyone know if ordering an Apple from Amazon carries the same warranty as buying in the store?

I can save about $100 by ordering from Amazon. The Apple store will give me the educators' discount, but even with that it is more than Amazon.

Amazon.com IS an authorized dealer for Apple, but when you order make sure that the amazon page says you are buying from Amazon. It will say Ships from and sold by Amazon.com.

It will carry the same basic warranty offered by Apple.
