do the children get appitizers too?

They do, but not from the adult menu. If they choose one of the kid's complete meals, then that includes the appetizer and dessert in it's description. Otherwise there is a list of items on the children's menu for appetizers, entrees and desserts. All TS have childrens' menus. The appetizers for the most part seem to be soups or salads with possible fry substitutions.
