appetizers not in dining plan?

Hi, I thought you got an appetizer as part of the meal in a table service dining plan meal. Am I wrong? Was an appetizer ever part of the plan?

It used to be but changed a few years ago. It includes drink dessert and entree, no tip.​

We usually get DDP, but I thought I remember reading that for 2016 that the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan does include an appetizer. Perhaps someone that gets the Deluxe will know.

The Deluxe Dining Plan DOES include the app, entree, dessert, and non-alcoholic drink. You get 3 TS credits and 2 snacks per night of stay.

Good point! I was assuming regular was what the OP was asking about . My bad should not assume.

I did too until they answered your first post and said they were glad they didn't get the Deluxe plan.

The regular Disney Dining Plan included an appetizer, entree, dessert, drink, tax and tip. That was quite a few years ago. The appetizer and tip have been removed. For 2016 at many locations you can substitute a soup or salad for the dessert if such is available at the restaurant you're dining at. Have heard QS restaurants will substitute a snack for the dessert.
