Appetizers/Desserts and Drinks

I have read many reviews on here where people have just ordered desserts and drink or just appetizers and drinks. Can I make an ADR if this is what we plan on doing? Do I need to tell the CM or not mention it? Should we just "wing-it" and try to walk up to these places? Thanks!

I would definately make ADR to make things more time efficient (especially if you want to sit at a table). Some restaurants offer "bar" areas where you can just order appys/drinks/desserts but, it is so much nicer when you can sit at a real table. We do this quite often & haven't told the CM- they really don't seem to care what we order. Have a great time!
