Appetizers at Tony's

Our WDW vacation starts on Sunday!!!

The current plan is to eat lunch at DTD, get unpacked, and head over the MK. We have dinner reservations at Tony's and the meal will be paid for OOP. We are also attending the Fireworks Dessert Party that night, so I'm thinking I don't want to eat a BIG meal for dinner. I thought I might utilize my "Cheesecake Factory" plan of attack, which consists of eating a salad and a small appetizer to save room for the cheesecake. Can anyone tell me about the appetizers at Tony's? What's good? What's bad?

(Note - I am not the "planner" of this trip, so forgoing the reservation is not an option.)

We had 2 dif soups and calamari and is was all delicious.

Thank you for the input. I was thinking about soup, but wasn't sure if I would be in the mood for it in the August heat. I'll keep it in mind, though, since it was good!

I was there a month ago and had the zucchini fries w/ creamy sun-dried tomato dressing for dipping. It was better than I had hoped for and the amount was plenty. If it's still offered, I would recommend it!
