Appetizers and Desserts

I was wondering, can you go into most full service restaurants (Not Character meals) and just order appetizers and desserts? If I make a PS for these places do I nees to tell them that this is all we are planning? Is there a minimum charge?

You can order whatever you want. There will be no minimum charge. No need to let them know when you make a PS.

I don't know for sure, but I think that would be fine. I can't imagine why they would force you to order main entrees. I order only appetizers all the time at restaurants at home.

I don't think you need to ask when you make the Priority Seatings; just tell your server you will only be ordering appetizers and desserts.

This is what I do a lot of the time. I'm not a big eatter, but love dessert and wouldn't have room for it with an entree. Sometimes I find that the appetizers are huge, especially at Rainforest Cafe!!

DBF and I did this at Jiko and the total of our appetizers and desserts was pretty much the same as two nights before when we had ordered main courses. I like ordering the appetizers instead of main courses because I don't feel as stuffed afterwards.

Once when we were at the CG, we just decided we did not want entrees, so we ordered a bottle of wine and an assortment of appetizers. We ended our nice little meal with dessert. Our waiter went with our flow, and was great at suggesting the best appetizers on the menu. I would do this again in a heartbeat, if the mood struck.
