I am in the process of trying to put together a very last minute trip to the World over the Christmas holiday. The details of why it's so last minute are for another thread..lol!

Also, I realize Christmas is going to be crazy busy, but going another time is not an option.

Ok, so that being said, in the beginning of October I submitted an inquiry for Windsor Hills through WHRent. I received dozens of responses from people who had my dates available. At the time, my ducks were not completely in a row, but now they are and my options have narrowed considerably. I started emailing the owners of the condos that were still available and no one has returned my email yet!?!? Maybe it's normal to not have a very fast turn around, but given the last minute nature of my trip, I'm very anxious!

I know there are other affiliates to go through besides the one I mentioned...does anyone have any other recommendations?

I do not know if this applies to you but I have noticed if you request more than one set of dates at different times using the same email that you do not get as many responses the second time. I think it might be filtered somehow. I would try using another email address. Sounds strange but it works.

I had to wait and book in mid-October for our trip on 12/16. I really wanted 12/17 check-in, but that was already gone. I booked, and watched the availability drop like a rock over the next few days.

The week between Christmas and New Years is rare as hens teeth and most people book a year out.

Not everyone checks email daily, particularly if they are traveling.

I'd start checking out VRBO. I'm kind of in the camp that if they don't return emails within 48 hours, I start checking out other options. If they do happen to get back to me and I haven't booked yet, great. But I'm not going to put all my eggs in one basket.
