The shopping ban is working! I haven't been into Joann's and Hobby Lobby in awhile. Today I went to get ribbon to decorate some flip flops so I browsed the scrapbook sections at each store. Boy, are they changing things up! Hobby Lobby had more of the new Cuttlebug Disney and the new embossing folders, etc. I bought the paisley embossing folder...

Joann's is moving around the Cuttlebug and Cricut areas, making more room. They had the Cuttlebug binder and one of the new embossing folders and plenty of room for the rest of them. I was thisclose to buying the binder with my 40% off but decided that I didn't have anywhere to put it. They had Cricut vinyl, and all colors of the Cricut markers. Along with the vinyl they had the transfer paper. Does anyone know if you have the vinyl if you need the transfer paper? I tried reading if you needed both, but I couldn't tell from the box.

It's nice that they are finally changing things up. For so long, I would go into both of them and leave empty handed because there was nothing new and everything looked the same.

I left Michael's and Hobby Lobby last week with nothing! That never happens. I think I was just tired......I've never tried embossing. Y'all are really bad influences!
I bought the wall pops and have been too intimidated to try them! (and I need to paint, first)
Thanks for sharing, I may just have to go look again......

i love days like that. when you go and find all kinds of new things. my michaels has been very stale for a while now. i think acmoore is way better, but it's farther away. but i'll make the drive for a better selection.

I think you do need the transfer paper, my ACMoore has the vinyl but no paper so they are sitting in a box, waiting for me to paint my kitchen.

I need a slogan for the wall too.
I was thinking "M is for Mom, not for Maid" what do you think???

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That sounds perfect to me! I was afraid that the transfer paper was needed. So looks like I will send in DH with a 40% off coupon to get one and I will do the other.

The other thing I forgot to mention was that Hobby Lobby had new cash registers. Much more up to date but they still had to manually give the discounts. The credit/debit machine is now for the customer to swipe instead of the cashier so you can enter your pin number, etc.

i love the phrase!!!!! perfect for a kitchen!
