App or website with character meet and greet schedules

Hi all,

I know in the past there was either an app or a website I could go to that would say (day of) that a certain character would be in a certain area of the parks for a 30 minute time period. I can't remember where this was and am not sure if it's still around.

It was super helpful to find characters my kids were excited to see (Tiana, Donald Duck). I know I can ask at City Hall as well but I loved being able to look on my phone. Sometimes the City Hall lines are long!

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks!

You may be referring to the old Verizon Disney Mobile Magic app. It provided character M&G times. Unfortunately, it is no longer available, and I do not know of anything comparable.

Sorry, I scanned the Disneyland Waits and Mousewaits Disneyland apps (the two most commonly mentioned free apps) and neither listed character locations or times, except for the fixed meet & greets (e.g., the hours for Pixie Hollow are listed, but not who you will see along with Tinkerbell).

I don't know how helpful Otto will be. I just tried calling and asking about Tiana and I got information for the Royal Hall. I've never seen Tiana listed as a princess at Fantasy Faire, but I have seen her out in NOS on a regular basis. So I think Otto might be of limited help for this situation (rather like he doesn't have the FP information for F! or WoC either). Another option, and I don't know if it works, is to ask one of the character host CMs. Maybe they have some information about character schedules (although it could be limited to the fixed M&Gs).

Yes I remember that from a few years back. Very bummed when that app went away. I thought there was a website from Disney that was less convenient but just as accurate that took it's place. Hmmm. Maybe I'm making it up LOL! But I swear there was a place that listed meeting times just for that day (and was updated throughout the day). Shoot! It was so helpful!

Otto hasn't worked for me in the past for those that mentioned that option.

I have found that CMs are usually super helpful with stuff like this - I always ask them out of earshot of my kids and say "I'm not expecting a guarantee, just looking for a best guess" so they don't feel like I would come back to them and be grumpy later (which I never would anyway, but I know some people can get a bit literal about things like this)
