I would like to apologise for the HUNDREDS of questions that i have asked today :lmao: :lmao:

I confess that i am way toooooo over excited about our 1st ever trip next week and i have millions of questions flying around in my head :headache:

Im sorry if your getting fed up with me today :rotfl2:

And i promise not to post anymore questions for the rest of today :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
 
Oh and i promise to drag myself away from the DIS BOARDS and do some housework :lmao:
 
hahaha, i did this the other day... and just pictured people seeing yet another question and thinking ...:sad2:

i am having total melt down at the moment..as on my babies paperwork his surname is spelt wrong... and i never noticed... have rung, and they said it could be huge problem! said they are tracking the phone call from when i booked... to see whos error it was, if it was mine will have to pay for whole new ticket... am distraught... as this holiday .... well... we sold so much etc to do it, means everyhting to us. I am actually shaking... waiting for phone to ring. i will have to pay on credit card... but am terrified... they will say he cant go now or something... they wont will they? he is 1... sitting on my lap...

oh.... sorry to blab on... but honestly feel heartbroken. and scared..so upset

thank you... i feel so sick... its been two hours and they still have not rung, i am going out of my mind with worry. And I have got to go off to a parents meeting at 230.... am so worried that the ticket wouldnt even get here in time or something... its because his name his double barrelled... and they put the other name as a middle name... so in a line it looked normal...
first name.. middle name, surname,, surname..

but then on ticket i just saw.. first name, surname... if i just said all names in row... then i get charged... if i specified it was a double barreled then i wont... but either way i am so scared that maybe the whole thing will have to be cancelled....

This happened to my SIL on Expedia, they were going to charge her £80 to change it but it was proven to be their mistake. I can't see why your DS would need a new ticket - you're not changing the person, just the spelling! I feel for you, our trip means everything to us too and we can't really afford it, but what the hell. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
 
thank you.... thats what i said.. even if not was sent about surname.. its all correct... all there... but the second surname is in middle name bit, woman from fleetway was really blunt. have been crying all morning.

Oh poor you.:hug: I really can't see why they are making a big deal of it. So, what they have done is put your DS's surname down as his middle name? Instead of double-barrelling it? I think some customer service people take perverse pleasure in increasing stress levels. Why don't you ring back? You might get someone more sympathetic/knowledgeable.

Actually, why don't you start a new OT thread to ask if this has happened to anyone else and how it was dealt with? You might get some good advice!

i did try ringing back... she snapped at me.. that someone will ring after they have listened to tape. i asked her.. will it affect trip etc. but she refused to give me any answers... she just wanted me off the phone. got to go in a bit. bet she will ring when i am out... i have answering machine. But still. better go re do make up now! look like a panda

I would actually ring back & ask to speak to her supervisor, as that is not the attitude to have no matter who is right or wrong. I work in customer services & I would never speak to someone like that as I know I would be in trouble.

thank you... rang back and spoke to someone else.. who then had to ask her if she was busy... and got the message back... am waiting to ehar back from disney.. be patient.

whay disney??? they wont mind how the name is will they! oh my god, what else is going wrong? i have to go out in ten mins...

I agree, I would complain no matter what the outcome. It sounds like you were unlucky and spoke to someone who wasn't particularly good at their job. There is no need to be blunt or snappy - they've taken your money after all!

I feel your stress because I would be exactly the same!

Have you considered phoning Disney direct to ask them what their policy is?
