Hi guys and gals

Today is the day my Virgin advance seating opened up after 9 months of waiting :cool1:

I think i have great seats from the seat map but now am doubting i maybe eligable for them. What i seem to have are seats in the bubble of the Glasgow to Orlando 747. I have a low priced Economy fare ticket , does this sound okay?

Anyone been up there as well with an Economy ticket. I would hate to arrive at the airport to get told i do not qualify for these seats and probably get seperated at the last minute if that was the case.

any advice appreciated as usual.

PS. today also opened for my Fast Pass+ and i got all 8 days booked with exactly times and rides i had planeed on. It was soo easy , happy bunny :yay:

Flew back from New York in the bubble just last month on an Economy ticket. Obviously, nothing is set in stone and you could still be moved to different seats but that could happen regardless of where you have pre-booked seats anyway.

Economy is economy regardless of the code, but a pp said until your in your seats don't 100% bank on keeping them :-)

You are perfectly entitled to them. The system won't let you reserve seats that are for a higher class. Enjoy! We loved being in the bubble.

Coolio , thanks for the positive reply guys , really getting excited about this trip now.

What is the bubble? Everyone goes on about it and I don't understand, do all VA flights have a bubble?

It's the upstairs section on the Boeing 747. Some Virgin 747 configurations have the rear section of the bubble as Economy - we have seats there reserved from Heathrow - Miami. :thumbsup2

It's just upstairs on the old 747s. Some people say it's quieter. Others say it feels more cramped because of the curvature of the roof. They may close it if the flight is not full and put everyone downstairs. Sometimes it disembarks first, sometimes not. We prefer downstairs but wouldn't care if we had to sit up there. Economy is economy.
