API's for US passport holder

I have a US passport. Do I still need to complete an API form? I haven't completed an ESTA either.

US passport holders do not require ESTA's.

DH and DDs have US passports. They don't need ESTAs, but I always need to do API for them.

API's (For Princess, this is Advanced Passenger Information - quite often it can be done at the same time as you book your flight - basically your name, dob, passport information etc) are done for security purposes rather than immigration so I believe everyone has to fill these out.
