I have had my 2 park preferred annual pass for almost a year now and paid on flexpay, so I am assuming it will automatically renew, but we will not be going back to Florida until around May next year, and looking at booking into Hard rock Hotle using APH discount so will be coming from UK and my AP shows a date of 09.01.2008 but I need a current AP to book into the hotel, although it will be current as payment will continue the actual pass will not be (if that makes sense) will this be a problem when checking in or will I need to go to Customer services at the park and update pass before checking in - don't fancy doing this as we will be tired after a 9 hour flight and our body clocks will be telling us it is almost midnight.

Any opinions of the best universal hotel would be appreciated

Thanks for any help

I renewed our AP in July at guest services, they just updated the old passes and gave us them back . date on our pass is 15th july 2007 and never had any problems.

Thanks for the reply - that puts my mind at ease a bit, now to get on with investigating the diffrent hotels

You don't need a current AP to BOOK the hotel using annual pass rates. You don't even need an AP at all. You just need to show it before you check out to get your rate.

you will not have any problems.

i have never been asked to show my AP at the HRH when i have checked in.

i did read that one guest was asked for the ap during check in time.
what they did was take their voucher to the park and receive the ap.
they showed it to the front desk for their files on rate charge and all was good.

the onsite hotels are very easy to work with.
if all you have is a voucher and the front desk needs to see the numbers on your ap, exchange the voucher for the ap pass when at the park.

stop by the check in counter after your day in the park to show the verification.

easy peasy....

Thansk for your replies you have put my mind at ease, I can carry on with my planning now.
