I bought my kitties a container of treats yesterday. I've bought some in the past and they never liked them. These ones they love.

I put them in the drawer of the coffee table so they would be handy to give them some in the evening.

I got up this morning and noticed various papers and such on the floor around the coffee table. Couldn't figure out why they were there as they are normally stored in the drawer. I went to put them away and noticed the container of treats is missing. I still can't find them! Silly kitties. Oh, and they closed the drawer after. :upsidedow

The other morning I woke up to a wooden spoon and the sink stopper next to my bed. :rotfl:

Did you look under the bed??? :lmao: That is too funny. I think you should ground the cats for leaving the papers all over the floor though. :lmao:

Heaven forbid if I run out of Fergie's treats. She starts harassing me when I get home from work and will whine and cry until she gets them. I make sure to have extra packages because if I don't have any, I would have to either immediately go out and get some or have myself committed from the whining.

I never realize whining was such a good training technique. :rotfl:

My cats are known to hide things...socks are fair game...If I come up short on socks, I usually check under the couch..they pull them out of the laundry!

Shoes are another...my crocs are never together...One is usually hiding under the couch..

Dog toys...yup under the couch...Dexxter the new kitten is mainly the culprit

Look about one cat arm's length under the sofa. That's where we usually find stuff.

somewhere in this house is a huge stash of missing stuff. We just haven't found it yet. We have 2 cats, 1 yr and 1 1/2 yrs old, it's the younger one doing all the stealing. Every morning this week I've been greeted by a trail of socks from the laundry room, thru the house, to my bedroom. Dd11 spends her first 10 minutes of the day picking up socks. She also has a thing for plastic. She particularly enjoys stealing the hair drain cover thing from the showers. She will take any plastic or metal item that catches her fancy. I've been refusing to buy ear rings because she's managed to steal 1 from almost every set my dd's own. She doesn't eat them, thank God, she plays with them and carries them around until she finds a spot to hide them. The toilet paper holder has been missing from my bathroom for almost 2 months, which is very annoying because it makes it easier for her to unroll the paper all over the bathroom! She's also very good at opening doors. There is not a cabinet she hasn't gotten into, she even taught the other cat how to hide in the kitchen cabinets! I use an old dining room dresser (that was used for silverware, dishes, table clothes, etc) as my bedroom dresser. The 2 side doors stick, to the point that I have problems getting them open, but the cat has no problems getting them open!
