Well, we can add something else to the list of plans that faltered. Dianna turned in our applications for the two bedroom apartment, but they said no because I hadn't given vertification from Disney that I work there! That's so stupid....what if I had come down to FL without already having some place to stay before I got a job? Saturday was the deadline for Dianna, so she went ahead and leased the place she has for another year.
She said I'm welcome to stay as long as I need to though. Argh! I should've insisted we sat down together and discussed things from the beginning. We should've both gone to the manager together. Now I don't get a room of my own unless I move somewhere else. I don't want to room with someone I don't know at all...maybe I'd be better off in my own apartment with no roommates. The only problem is, I'd have to buy bunches of stuff to do that because all I have is what I needed for a dorm- no furniture or kitchen supplies or anything. *sigh*
Yesterday, I met Chris at Epcot. I was supposed to park in the cast parking lot so he could drop his stuff off in my car, but I couldn't figure out how to get to it, so I parked in the regular one. It was quite muggy outside. I'm dreading the summer heat. We went straight for France to see if we could catch Belle's last shift at 5:30. She and Beast were there in their pretty room near the purfume shop. (It's a beautiful meet and greet room.) Niether of us had a camera. We let the professional photographer take one but we forgot to go back to look at it. Chris overheard Belle talking to the greeter about wanting to get rid of us.
We did our traditional walk around the world showcase. In Japan, we got more sweets, hehe. We also bought a little in Germany as well. Yum. Epcot sure has some tasty looking treats. I can't wait to see the food and wine festival in the fall. In Italy, we ran into our friend, David (not to be confused with Dianna's boyfriend David) who is a character greeter as well. He was greeting for the living statues. It's fun to just run into friends like that. Those statues are funny. She took a little boy's hat and wouldn't give it back unless he gave her a kiss on the cheek. The whole audience started chanting kiss her! It was quite amusing. hehe.
We soon got very hungry but niether of us wanted fastfood or to pay the price of a Disney sitdown place, so we left the park and ended up at a Shony's on highway 192. Chris promised that next time we'd try a park resturant. We spent the rest of the evening at Downtown Disney. I'm enjoying finally having a local boyfriend.
I don't know if I'll go to the parks today. I need to get some black shoes and do laundry. I don't know what the heck I'm going to do about the apartment. I want my own room, darn it!
