Today? Just about anything that is expected of me. It’s a freaking surprise every time something gets done. Death, I’ve been ready for for about 10 years. Once you are at peace with your maker, that part of life, though unsettling, is no longer as much of a concern as day to day stressors.

Medicare. But as I’m turning 65 on Friday it’s here whether I’m ready or not

I turned 65 in June. My bank account is a lot happier with Medicare. $171 a month plus $100 for a supplement is a lot better than the $900 a month I was paying. And the $233 cap on out of pocket is a lot better than the $5,000 cap I had.
