You all seem so great at budgeting. I have taken many tips away from this board. My favorite so far was to set aside envelopes and put a certain amount in them each week for Disney! My ? is - what are the benefits of a annual pass? I went to WDW and Cruise last Oct and we are now going to WDW only for 8 days in August. Would this AP have benefited my family. I have the Disney Visa (which isnt so great) and also received the 7 for 5 deal thru AllEarsNet. (wonderful travel agency). Does the AP save you on cruise prices also? Thanks so much for any suggestions....

AP holders generally do not get a discount on the Disney Cruise, although there is an annual AP holder cruise that I do believe is discounted.

If they do a land-sea package for the cruise, AP holders get a discount on the land portion because they do not need park passes. I'm not sure of the current discount rate. Most of the time, it is cheaper to get an AP room-discount and book the cruise separately.

You can check out a list of passholder benefits at AllEars.net - AP Benefits
