Although we have had ap's for years and years we have never taken advantage of the special location (at Italy maybe) for passholders to view the Epcot fireworks. We are going with family soon and would really like to be able take advantage of this perk. DH and I have ap's but our guests will not. Has anyone ever had this experience that would know if our guests while with us will be allowed in or only DH and I. TIA!

I don't think the special viewing area exists anymore.

That AP perk lasted about one month during 2002. It was taken away since Disney needed the space for people who paid for package perks that included special viewing areas.

During the short time it was available, it was limited to only the passholder, no guests.

I just got my AP renewal form and it reads:

"Plus, if you renew now, you won't miss any of the special Passholder benefits - like discounts, VIP viewing areas and other perks."

Maybe they will bring them back for the summer.

Last summer we visited the AP lounge in the Land. It was a quiet place to relax and have some ice water.
