I recently cancelled a SOG ressie and made an 11-day ressie at FW Cabins for a rate of 179.00 night with a General Code. I let my AP lapse over a year ago and never thought about getting another because the price is so high.
*smack my head* I have more than enough plusses so I wouldn't need to get a premium AP again. Is it worth it for the 11 days to get a regular AP?

Is there a way to see if I could apply an AP discount to the cabin ressie if it were less than the general code?

You can call the regular reservation number and ask for the AP rate and availability for the Cabins for your dates - only need to show the AP or voucher at check-in if you book the AP rate. :thumbsup2

p.s. An AP with tax is $477.12 .......a 10 day hopper is $287.55 through disney's website.. A 10 day hopper using mousesavers newsletter link through undercovertourist would be $267.95.

Hope this helps!! :)

You can also purchase an AP at SOG without paying the tax on it. Plus get all the other perks that come with it.

I've checked a couple of different properties and the AP rate was just a few dollars less than the GP code -- so unless you definitely plan to go back to WDW within a year, the savings on the room will probably be less than what you'd have to pay for the AP.
