We will be going to Disney for 10 days/9 nights Nov 2005. It has been suggested that at least one member of our group purchase an AP so that we can use any AP discounts that may become available. I am trying to get an idea as to how much of a AP discount it would be on the room. We would be staying at the CBR. Does the AP discount also apply to the Dream maker package or just the hotel?

Annual Pass discounts for resort accomodations are good only for room-only reservations. If you book a package, I believe that everybody in your party has to be on the package - so I don't think that only one person would be able to have an Annual Pass.

That is my understanding as well - everyone included in the package will have UPH (Length of Stay) tickets.

First off, let me say that if you are going up for 10days 9 night, you will pay lot more for a length of stay pass, or a Park hopping pass for that lenght of time and at this moment they dont have a 10 pass.

For and Adult: 12 Day/11Night UPH $525.07 $43.76 Exceeds AP cost 12.14
Annual Pass $403.64

For a Child: 12 Day/11Night UPH $420.69 $35.06 Exceeds AP cost 12.88
Annual Pass $342.93

If you dont believe me check out this web page. Look under the section dealing with planning, there is a place that talks about is an AP vs PHP right for you.

Then I would do the math for, it should come out cheaper with the AP.

I hope this helped you out.

I think that only one person has to have the AP, and that with that you can reserve up to 3 room only reservations. You don't have to have the annual pass when you make the reservations, but you have to present it when checking in.

Thanks so much for the info. I think I will probably book the dream maker package, since I am afraid that with so much juggling of who has what type of ticket & whether or not there will be discounts, I might actually make things worse.
