I have an AP voucher that I purchased five years ago for a trip that was cancelled due to a death in the family. The current cost of an AP voucher is more than $100 more than we paid for the one we have. We do not plan to return to WDW for more than a year.
We have a trip planned for this Fall. We go to the water parks and Pleasure Island multiple times on every trip and we expect this one to be no exception. As a separate admission, the cost of the water parks and PI would probably be more than $100. An upgrade to a Premium AP would be even more $$$.
If we didn't have a voucher, we would purchase a premium 10 day MYW with expiration. The cost of the MYW ticket we need is $5 more than the amount we paid for the AP.
Given the above, any advice on what we should we do with our AP voucher:
1. Apply it to the MYW tickets and eat the $5 difference.
2. Sell the AP voucher on Ebay. Is this allowed? Are we likely to net more than we paid for it?
Thanks for your help on this quandry. -- Suzanne
