AP ugrade

Cost of PAP ($515) minus cost of AP ($395) = $120 plus tax ($7.80).
Total: $127.80

I wonder if the expiration date stays the same if you have already activated the ap? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

The expiration date of the original active AP will stay the same when you do the upgrade to the PAP.

I was under the impression (given to me by the CM who sold me my AP over the phone) that when I was ready to upgrade to a premium AP, the premium pass would be pro-rated based on the amount of time left on my AP. Any knowledge of this? We bought APs in December, and did not want to add the water parks at the time. I was assured that when I added the water parks in the spring, I would not have to pay full premium upgrade price.

The DRC CM you spoke to was wrong. :sad2:

Disney does not prorate AP upgrades any longer. They stopped doing it about 5 years ago. You will now pay the entire price difference between the two and you will keep the same expiration date as your AP had.
