AP ticket and already purchased 3 day ticket

I purchased park tickets as part of a package. I decided last minute to purchase AP so I can get the discounted after magic hours ticket.

My question is would I be able to go to guest relations and do one of the following...
1.) Retroactively put my 3 day tickets towards my already purchased AP

OR

2.) Activate and use my AP for this trip and save my 3-day ticket for a later date?

All replies appreciated seeing as trip is in 10 days!

I think 2 is the only valid option. Have GS Make sure the 3 day ticket will not be used this trip.

After the 1st day and 3rd day check in MDE to be sure the 3day ticket remains untouched. (Because Guest relations can fix it then instead of worrying later)

I would go to guest relations when your at WDW and ask.. worst case, they will say no.. but they might say sure!

BTW: does your room discount require park tickets? If no, call up now and ask what your options/current discounts are to remove your park tickets. I've removed tickets in the past for a better deal. Also you may not need 3 days of tickets and can reduce it down to 1 if you can't remove them completely. Keep in mind you now qualify for AP room discounts, there's been a few with a little more off, no tickets...
