AP/throw away room/parking question

Can someone please explain how parking works at the resorts? Do you pay for each day or is it per night of your stay?
We will be staying at a timeshare but have a room booked for one night at the beginning and the end for the express passes. (2 different rooms spread out during our trip so 4 days of express passes) We will be getting seasonal APs and maybe one at a higher level for discounts and free parking in the garage. Now I’m thinking that since we have to go check in to the hotel it doesn’t make sense to then leave and park in the garage but I’m trying to figure out the cost difference. Hope this makes sense!!

Parking costs vary between the Deluxe resorts and the Value ones. Prices are in the hotel stickies on the first page for each hotel.

Prices are per night, so you do get two full days of parking for the price of one nights stay.

Make sure you leave before midnight on the second day as charges will roll over.

isnt the poster staying Delux? Only the 3 delux resorts offer the express passes, which is why they are booking the throw away room. Unless something recently changed. I can’t understand not wanting to stay overnight at RP, HR, & PB

Yes, we have a one night booked at Hard Rock and one night at Royal pacific. We are staying for a week in a 2 bedroom timeshare unit. It just works best for my family for longer stays. My daughter has special needs and has a very limited diet so having a kitchen really helps.

Yes, I very clearly understood she is staying Deluxe.

But, there will be other people reading this and wanted to be clear there isn`t just one across the board charge for parking.

For someone not staying Deluxe, I didn`t want them thinking that was the cost if they hadn`t read the stickies or checked the website. For example parking at Cabana Bay is only $17 per night.

Anytime anyone has a throwaway room at Universal, I am willing to guard the room overnight and keep the light on for you.
