AP Site Access Question

I ordered AP's for my family (2+1) on Aug 18. Having gotten concerned that I had not received the vouchers I was accustomed to getting (I've been an AP holder for years) yet, I called MS on Sunday.

They informed me that I wouldn't be getting vouchers! Instead, I would have to show my DVC card and ID at a ticker center to get my tickets. OK. Fine.

I want to get my access back to the AP site. What gives??? I don't have a voucher with a number. :confused3

They have my money. That has always entitled me to have access to the site even before the AP's were actually picked up (via the voucher numbers).

When you buy your AP from MS you have to specifically state that you want the voucher mailed to you ($3 extra charge) otherwise you just get a “will call” number and can not access the site until you get your actual pass.

MS really should have asked you which you wanted

I ordered them online (originally. I called after having NOT received my vouchers). I was never given an option. I just assumed they would be mailed as they always were. Stupid me. :(

Did you pay the $3 mailing fee? I ordered an AP right before the price increase and it gave me an option before the final order button.

I've ordered on line many times and as stated you are given an option of will call or a voucher for a shipping fee. I always go for the will call. This is where I'm confused. Since we always get will call we are always given a will call certificate with barcode on it to print at home (I always print 2 copies). Plus all of the info is sent to my email address. OP, did you not print the cute little will call certificate with tinkerbell on it? (Since we never let our APs expire, we always have access to the AP website, so no need for a voucher).

Part of the reason I called for mine was that I could never find the option for the mailed voucher while specifying. Since it does not come up until the final purchase screen I can see why I missed it and other might also.

I would call MS and explain the situation and see if they can change yours to the mailed version. They take 2-3 weeks to get.

Same here. I ordered new APs in early August, just before the price increase and checked the box to pay $3 to have the vouchers mailed to me. So as of that time, that option still existed.

Thanks folks.

I called ticket services today and they're sending me my vouchers. Charged me $3 but no big deal. Now I know. :)
