AP room reservation

We are planning a trip to DL for April 21-23, 2013 and I plan on buying a premier passport once we arrive. I would like to book a 2 night stay at GC with an AP discount. When is the best time to do this? If I book now and they later off a better AP discount can I take advantage of it? Is there a pattern for when they offer better AP discounts on rooms?

They won't offer the "final final offer" as far as discounts go until closer to the dates (about two months out). That said, definitely book a room-only reservation now and then yes, you can call back and adjust your rate accordingly.
