It's been a while since we have used cash rather than points for a room, and I now see that there are higher rates for weekends.

My question is: With AP codes is there a discount on weekend nights? I tried to book a room using the OZI code and got a great rate for the weekday portion of the trip, but the weekends were not discounted at all.

Wondering if this is going to be a trend with all applicable codes.

Thanks for any information you may provide:) :) :)

The rates are higher on the weekends IF it is a holiday weekend (MLK/Prez) or any season above value season. (Only value season do the rates stay the same for the weekends). I have a AP rate of $99 for 1/17/08 which is MLK weekend. This is for POFQ and was very surprised to get an AP rate for a holiday weekend. I gave up my rack rate room at Pop which was $92 a night for my $99 at POFQ.

Thanks for your reponse.:)

You mean that AP rates are higher during peak/holiday seasons on weekends? But there is a discount?
Or is s it similar to the OZI code which offered no discount at all for weekends?

What would the % be for AP rates on weekend?

Anyone know?
