AP Room-Only Release Date for Stays After June 6

OT, but when I was inquiring about rooms & the 4/7 deal (or whatever it is) for an April 2009 trip I was told that AP holders don't have to purchase the one-day ticket any more.

We stuck with what we had, so we didn't need any package, but you might want to speak to another CM. Each one usually has a different answer about things.

We just purchased a package and have APs and did have to get the 1 day pass just to let you know.

That's weird, when I go to the website it is back to only showing available until June 6!

I posted this a few hours ago here, but at least I'm glad to see it's not just me! My guess is that their system is completely overwhelmed, so they pulled it from the website so that CM's can maybe get a better response when they're booking it themselves.

We were trying to add 2 nights to a 4/7 package, but I really don't want to call and check, and prefer to book myself online so I think we'll just stick with our switch to a nearby offsite hotel. When I had checked earlier, we could get one of the AS resorts for about $15 more than our offsite hotel, and I was thinking of booking that, but we were going to have to switch from Pop Century anyway, so we couldn't get the big advantage of being able to stay at the same resort.

Where on the regular WDW booking site can I put a code in? I have been trying and don't see anything. I called to get one quote but wanted to play with the numbers online if I could.

PS Can't go to AP site yet...have to buy AP.

Just popping back in to tell everyone congratulations on the AP rates! I knew they would come out the day after I paid off my package!

I did book my birthday trip on the Liberty of the Seas today. Royal Caribbean had a nice sale and I got a great cabin! So no Disney birthday but the beach and sea are perfect! Glad it worked out for me and glad you all got the AP rates!

It must have been the dining plan I was looking in to then. You used to have to purchase a 1-day ticket, but you don't need to any more, I guess.

You can only see the rates online if you have an AP or an AP exchange certificate. You get there by selecting "Passholder" on the main disneyworld.com page. But they've removed the offer for dates beyond June 6 from the website anyway, so you can't see them as of now. They were there earlier today though!

Yes, you need the 1 day ticket for the free dining but not for the AP rate. I just got my AP rate with dining plan... no need to buy the 1 day ticket.

Just a few pages back, someone had mentioned that you had to have the AP pass activated and NOT the voucher for check-in. I spoke to my TA and she told me that you only had to have the voucher to do this. I think they give you 24 hours to activate it. Also we were given the discount as well. We had CR MK view booked for June 13th-16th and had an original price with an AAA discount for $1488.36 and now the total is $1262.25. That's a savings of$226.11. I am thrilled with this. Also, for our 4th of July trip just for the one night ( July 4th only) at AAA discount was $729.56 and now it is $673.88 and that is for CR MK CL. Also thrilled with this. So that means that they are including CL in this discount.:cool1:

Sorry guys to barge in here and ask but what are the discounts amounting to % wise?

I have 2 ressies booked with the 40% PIN code, are these AP rates better than that?

I noticed AKL studio Jambo at $188 that's a pretty good deal! Does anyone have the breakdown of discounts by category or do they vary?

Thanks!

I saw the Mousesaver email, but when I log inot my AP account, the new dates are not up.
SO, I call Disney, LOL, and changed my ressie for the June - August 8 deal.
I did NOT have to buy a 1 day ticket for the dinning...My CM said you don't have to anymore.

I am AP holder and the website with summer special rate was working at noon but in the evening the website didn't show anymore the summer discount rate on the room!!!! It is only up to june 6th?!?!? Someone understand this?

The passholder website is still not working, only shows the old discounts up till June 6th :surfweb:...

agnes!

I just checked on the passholder site...for 2 adults, room only as per details above...

Disney's Yacht Club Resort
Mon, Jul 27 $ 364.00
Tue, Jul 28 $ 364.00
Wed, Jul 29 $ 364.00
Total: $1,229 †

Hope this helps!

That acould be right....I got a quote for $314 for BC water view. Club will be higher.

Your kidding! How did you get that? Actually what is that room (never heard of it)? Got AKL, pool view bunk for $209.
I'm assuming it's a DVC studio. What a great rate.

My friend just got $169/night + tax at the WL. She'll be there end of July/beginning of August.

I think I'm going to call WDTC/CRO since the website is still giving the old "expires June 6th" specials.

agnes!

That is weird because I booked Pop online for June 27th yesterday with the AP rate of $84+tax.

I just check the website and they still have the old specials. There must be something wrong because yesterday the new special was up.:confused3
