AP room discounts and purchased dining plan questions

I can't remember if you are required to buy any park tickets If you want to buy the dining plan with AP room discount. I know you can use the AP discount along with purchasing dining, just can't remember if we had to buy 2 day park passes like with free dining. Anyone?

If you have an AP rate or rack rate room, you can buy the AP ticketless package with dining. No tickets required.

Thanks. We have the visa card discounted package now but I think it is high for a standard room at POP. We will probably go with AP room discount and buy dining when AP discounts come out.
