AP Room discount?

I just got an AP for the first time and am wondering what rates people have gotten at the Disneyland hotels with AP's. When do discounts come out?

There are discounts now through mid February. Of course the holiday periods are excluded and some dates are already booked, but the PP starts at $139, DLH $149 and GC $249. I believe those are the rates. I know I booked Feb 6-8 at DLH for $149.

Go to the disneyland.com site and click on annual passholders. Register (you have to enter your ap card number) and then you can check the ap updates, look at the rates on the calendar, and so forth. It's very cool!

We stayed at GCH in Oct for $249 standard, I'm going this Friday and staying at DLH for $149 standard, and I'm going again in Feb. to DLH, staying concierge for $279.

There is always an ap discount, but the best ap discounts are in the fall and I'm not sure what other times. This year, the good fall rates were extended into Feb. Since the economy is affecting travel, I think it's possible they'll have more ap deals this year.

They had AP rates last Feb too!

The CM I talked to told us to be on the lookout for the AP9 rate since our trip is at the end of the AP8 rate & includes full price rooms.

Be sure to ask for AP8 rates when you call!
