AP reservation question

I hope that someone knows the answer to this question....
I have a reservation for late November at POFQ. I would like to change the arrival date to the next day because airfares are crazy for that Sunday. Would I need to cancel the reservation and make a new one or would they just adjust the day? I am afraid to loose my ap rate at pofq.

Why don't you check the Disney site and see availability for your new dates? I'm going in late October and there is full availability for my week still with an AP discount. I have heard of people having to make new reservations and Disney modifying the existing reservation--I am not sure what the rule is. Good luck!

We have called and just told them we need to add a day to our existing reservation. There have been no problems.

When I had an AP rate in June for the WL, I just called them and told them I would be arriving a day earlier than expected...there was no problem modifying the existing reservation. I guess it just depends if there is availability or who you get in CRO. Just tell them when you call that you need to modify your reservation and take it from there.
