AP res- more than 1 rm in diff resorts??

Ok! I'm guessing that the answer is a big fat no, but just wanted a sanity check on this. We have friends who will be visiting Disney during our trip in May/June 2004, and we'll be spending time together. Our reservations are at the WL/YC (split) and they're looking at a value/moderate stay. Am I right in reasoning that I can't reserve the room for them with my annual pass if they're in another resort, particularly since they'll be arriving a bit later than us? Just wanted to make sure, since Disney policies have surprised me before (the "neverending refillable mug" debate, for starters)...

I don't think you can have 2 reservations at different resorts at the same time but I've been wrong in the past . Maybe someone will be able to give you a more definite answer. Enjoy your vacation.

thanks! they may be getting their own ap pass, so i may not have to actually try it (and save myself the embarassment with the disney cm's, who can be quite surly lately if you go by the ap rate thread) i've been wrong before, so it's always worth trying.

we have tried it and it doesnt work, you can have more than room, but it has to be at same resort and same time period, and same immediate family

check out the information on allears.net under the FAQ for AP. If I'm reading it correctly, you can do this. You just have to be there at the time of check in, and something about having to put it on the same credit card. I believe it said you could book up to 3 rooms and all did not have to be at the same resort. hope this helps... and hope I didn't get the information wrong.
