AP Renewal -Switching from Premium AP to Regular

So I just switched my DD's AP from a Premium to a regular at Epcot a couple weeks ago. I need to do the same with mine now and member services is telling me that is not allowed. Any help?
 
I'd not go thru MS but instead would call ticketing directly.

Or, call back and talk to someone else at MS but ticketing is not their specialty.
 
Just did it this week at the park. Was not an issue...
 
Thanks for the replies. I asked for a manager and while I was on hold they figured out how to process it:confused3
 

Funny we called MS in October and downgraded from the PAP to an AP for a renewal without any problems. I think they need a button number on the opening message so we can actually get ticketing experts.
