I took advantage of the $99 renewal deal when our AP's expired. I did so by calling the number on the flyer advertising the renewal. We have not been to the parks since we renewed. Do I have to do anything prior to using my AP at the parks? Or should I just be able to go to the gate and gain access? Thanks! :sunny:

Is the $99 renewal rate for the preferred annual pass. Is the rate the same for the annual passes with blackout dates?

I bought the preferred for myself and three of the other annual passes (ones with blackout dates) for the family.

The $99 renewal was for our preferred pass. Incidentily, we got our preferred passes when there was the buy one year, get a year free promotion was going on, so we have gotten 3 years for $279/pp! :cool1: Let's see the mouse beat that!

Now, back to my question... :confused3

Back the Badge,
The renewal for the Power Pass is $99 too. We did the same as you -- one Preferred Pass and Power Passes for the rest of the family. Incidentally, they offered to upgrade our Power Passes to Preferred Passes upon renewal for $138.95.

OP,
We didn't have to do anything at all when using a renewed pass. Simply entered at the turnstyles. Have a great trip!

Thank you for the info tinaluis! I am getting excited for our trip next month! :goodvibes

Tinaluis.
Thanks for the reply and the info....Great minds think alike as far as the passes go :teeth: We are going the last week of Jan/ 1st week of Feb...The Annual Passes we bought for the Family expire Feb 17. I believe mine expires 3 months later(15 month promo they were running last year). I am not sure we are going to renew. We like to take a trip out of the Iowa cold every year and would like to go to Mexico or Hawaii again.

Maybe skip universal for a year or two and start the cycle again.

The annual passes were well worth the investment for us.....And we are so spoiled with FOTL. I may never go to any other amusement park.
