AP Renewal question

I have renewed my AP online. The info says that my current card and magic bands will work. But my card lists 2014 / 2015, with the original expiration date written in marker. Will I get a new card? or do they not look at the date, and just scan it? This would be for discounts shopping and dining.

You need to stop by any ticket booth or guest relations and get a new card.
Have you customized/ordered your AP MagicBand?
You would do so in your MDE account.
