AP renewal question

I have a question for the experts. I was trying to reach a live person at DLR but kept getting recordings. I figured I could get a faster answer here.

We will be at DLR starting on 11/19. Our AP's expire on 11/20. I was planning on renewing them at the park. But in today's mail, I got an offer for $20 off each renewal, by mail or online. The offer also says there will be a coupon worth 20% off a $50 purchase.

My questions are :

Can I renew at the park and still take advantage of the $20 savings? If so, how do I get the coupon? Is it mailed to me?

If I renew online, will I get something to print out and take to the park? What date will it be valid? I'd like to use my old AP on the 19-20 and then have the new one start on the 21st.

Thanks

Here is what I would suggest, renew it online or by mail. When the new pass is created by them it will invalidate you old one. You new pass though will still be good for a year, you won't loose any days doing this. If you renew online with a payment plan you will need to print out some stuff and mail it anyway.

So here is the hitch. When do you get your new pass? This took a friend of mine who live in OC 1 week. But she wanted to go to the park first and found her old pass didn't work at the turnstyles. She explained that new pass hadn't arrive and she could go to guest services in the parks or a ticket booth for a special ticket. The special ticket was used for a day for entry and FPs. She would to get another one until her new pass arrived.

For discounts she would still need to show her old pass until she has the new pass.

Get your discount. HTH

If you renew at the Park on or before your expiration date, you can get the $20 off the Deluxe or Premium; however, you will not get the 20% coupon, as that is only for renewals done by mail.

What a hassle! I'd like the coupon but don't want to renew by mail. I'm afraid I wouldn't get the passes in time. I'd hate to waste time every day going to guest services and getting a temporary pass.

I renewed last week in DL the day before my PAP expired and I got the $20 off AND the coupon for 20% off a purchase of $50 or more.
