AP Renewal process - confused

I renewed my AP online this week, 2 weeks before it was due to expire. The online info (once I purchased) said Disney would email my e-certificate number. No email came. So I emailed ticket inquiries. They just answered saying that "your renewal is still on your existing annual pass..." They also sent me my AP number (a number I have not seen before, and does not match old numbers). The AP now appears in MDE profile, but with no number or code (that did not happen in first few days after I bought it).

I have the hard plastic AP (since RFID) but it has the magic marker expiration, CM wrote on it and I have a MB from November stay. I was able to make FP+ selection for March (on property) stay. But I feel like I am missing something.

Thoughts -- anything I should be concerned about that might warrant a trip to guest relations when I am next at DW? TIA!:goodvibes
 
Take some hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol and rub off the expiration date. That is all the GR CM is going to do. AP are able to be loaded onto the same card.

In fact when we sell them now, we purposely only write the month and day of expiration and not the year so they can be reloaded without worrying about a hand written date on them.
