AP renewal certificate

We are out of state and get gold passes to go 2 times per year. We go every 6 months and can usually get 3 trip by going right before they expire, the waiting and buying new passes again 6 months later. The last 2 times we renewed. We got renewal certificates and were shocked that when we got there and activated them, they expired a year from THEN. Not from our original expiration date. Is this normal? Am I wasting money letting them expire and buying new because with these renewal certificates they don’t expire until a year after you activate anyways? It happened twice already so I’m not sure how if not.

That has never happened with me, so I too think you were lucky,

I think you just got lucky. I just activated a renewal certificate and our APs expire a year from the original date.

I had that happen to me once. Same situation.. CM error/pixie dust.
