If my AP expires 2/4 and I want to use it 2/19. I know I can renew it online (2/15) and take it the booth and get my pass but that day is a blockout day will I be blockout out?

If I renew at the park that day 2/19, will I be able to continue my monthly payment option with out the down and be able to go in on a blackout date?

Hope that makes sense :thumbsup2

If you renew at the parks that day you should be able to get in without problem. The other option is to purchase a 1 day ticket and upgrade after you use it to get in, you will get your upgrade and not have to pay the blackout fee. I know this because I have done this. :) I've never done the renew on a blackout day but I have purchased a ticket and upgraded on a blackout day and yes, I had admission all day on my blackout day at no additional charge. I hope that wasn't too confusing......lol

I don't think that if you renew at the park it will not be blacked out. It's usually valid on the first day that you buy your annual pass, but since this is a renewal, which will be back-dated to 2/4, it might not qualify (unless you convince them to renew but not backdate)

You might lose your renewal discount if your AP is a deluxe. But if you don't have a deluxe, then there shouldn't be a problem with buying the 1-day ticket and then upgrading to an AP.

OP is trying to renew on the monthly payment (so not paying any money "down"). I'm really not sure what they'll do. You may be able to do it. I'd call Disney ticketing or passholder dept and ask.

If you renew or upgrade a pass, you get a block put day exemption on that day (even if you upgrade to a pass that would otherwise be blacked out; i.e. if you have a Select and upgrade to SoCal, you will get a free black out day if you upgrade on a Saturday, even though SoCal isn't valid on Saturday). But you are renewing after it expires, so not sure what happens in your case.
