Assuming there are AP rates coming out for the summer, suppose your pass expires June 13 and you want to stay at a Disney property from June 8 through June 18, would you get AP discount for your entire length of stay if you pay in full at check-in?

I would think you would only be able to get the AP discount up to the time your AP expires. Anyone else have info on this? ~:D~

It is my opinion that you would be able to get the discount for the whole time even though the pass had expired. We booked a room with a code and stayed past the time that the code rate expired. They applied the code rate to all the days we were there. Similar to booking for a stay that begins in value season and ends in holiday season. You get the check-in rate for the whole stay. You should probably call 407-wdisney for more info.

I'm just back from using AP rates at WL and AKL. The CMs never asked to see our AP at check in or any other time, or even asked if we had APs. We could have stayed there without having them - but we didn't and wouldn't. I guess they trust us. Or - the CMs at check in don't know the source of the rate you're getting.

We have used AP rate more than a dozen times. Never once been asked to show our pass at check-in.
