I was wondering if you need your AP at check-in if you book with an AP rate? We will be getting new APs when we get there through SOG (with my Mom), but do we need to go there first to purchase them before we check in? I've read the recent posts about people not being asked to show their AP (neither have we, but we always had them anyway), but I don't want to be caught in a sticky situation this time since we won't actually be getting them til we get there. Does anyone know the policy? Thanks!:D

I was told when I called that I would need either the voucher or the pass itself when you check in. If we used the voucher, we'd need to bring back the passes after we got them so they could be "stamped"...whatever that means.

There should be no problem considering they often don't even ask for the AP at check in. Explain the situation at check-in if they do ask and show them the actual AP when you check out and pay the bill.

Thanks for your quick replies - that makes a lot os sense Minnie's Mate - I'm not going to stress about having the APs in hand at check-in. I'm sure buying them will be the next thing we do anyway! Thanks again:D

I have used discounts for all my WDW trips and have yet had to show any kind of proof at check-in for a discount. There's always a first though, I suppose.
