AP rates may not be out tommorrow

per the CM I spoke to today. She said they are pending, but she could not find anything specifying a date they will be able to be booked. This is odd, as I spoke to a CM yesterday (I have not called everyday that this AP shuffle has been going on, just once in a while) who told me these rates are able to be booked 8/28-12/6. Is it possible one CM has more info then another? Or maybe he just knew a different place to look for the info? I was all excited about calling tommorrow to hear them say "Yes, AP rates are available for Oct. Which resort would you like?" Anybody get a somewhat definite confirmation or info from a more knowledgeable CM either way? Thanks!

I just got off the phone with a CM and he said that he saw something that the information for APs has been pulled and replaced with a note about them being on indefinite hold!!!

Maybe they just realized they skipped 8/24 to 10/1! Hopefully they did not fall into the same "system problem".

I really hope that CM had some wrong info or was just jerking you around since they are not "supposed" to tell anyone that AP's are pending. I think I can speak for a lot of us on here, that Disney needs to stop holding out on us and just give us the discounts!!! I have been in limbo this entire week. Has anyone else heard this from a CM? I know antkim has a friend in CRO whos said they will be out tomorrow. I wonder if we need to make a call. If it is true they must have gotten it late in the day!!



Please let there be AP discounts tomorrow!!

I just got off the phone with CRO and was told almost the same thing as Eeyore2U.
This CM told me there was a memo discussing putting the discounts on hold because they are thinking of revamping how they handle AP bookings, and they will most likely not be released until late October.

It's a shame - DH and I were thinking of taking a spur of the moment trip to surprise the in-laws in FL and take a few days and spend at WDW. I hope this info isn't correct, but this CM was awfully insistent

If that is the case, I think that's pretty rotten of Disney to say they are pending and then take them back til the end of Oct. I think we have all waited long enough.

This is the same company who released 8/24 to 10/1 AP rates for about an hour on July 30th and pulled them back, never to be seen again.

I called earlier tonight to ask about AP rates for my November trip. The CM said they were on hold and he didn't think they would be released for a long time if at all.

I am ok with paying for my current reservation in Oct at the rate I have at the AS. The problem is not whether or not there are discounts, its the releasing of the rates, then pulling them. And if that wasn't bad enough, AP rates were supposedly being released on Thursday, but now they may not be released at all. Its like a cruel game. Why can't they just say, "AP rates will not be available from _ to _ " and be done with it, or release them? Wish I wasn't so obsessed with WDW; maybe then this wouldn't be such a saga for me (and maybe I wouldn't have to go every year). Just venting my personal feelings, not debating anything.

I just noticed the same thing!! Thought I was the only one who visited the board this late.

I hope it doesn't mean anything. Guess we'll have to wait and see tomorrow...
