AP Rates for May- October?

If I call, will they change my GP Discount to the AP discount, so I can add the DDP?

Yes, that's what I just did. It didn't drop it much though (just 5% less than the GP discount I already had). I go to WDW several times a year and usually use an AP discount. I don't think I've ever seen them this low. I'm happy to get the discount, but at the same time a little disappointed they weren't any higher, considering how late they came out.

OK, I've got my POFQ 25% discount! It's not as good as I was hoping for but I think it's the best I'm going to get since I never get PIN codes.

Thanks to all who have been calling in every morning. It made it much easier for me to just check here. :thumbsup2

We're at POFQ April 30th-May 8th.:cool1: I had the CM check for a possible PIN code in my file while I had him on the phone, but as usual I was told I did not have one.:rotfl: We've always gotten at least 35% off the moderates, so I was a little disappointed with the 25% off too. The room portion of my trip only came down a little over $70.00 using the AP discount over the general public discount.

Thanks :) I ended up just booking through the website. I created a budget for my GP discount and what I thought I would spend on food. By switching over the the AP rate and adding the DDP, I shaved about $53 off my budget. A little disappointing, but $53 is still $53 :thumbsup2

Yea I was hoping for 35% off too. I guess POFQ is just too popular. I'll be there from May 1st to May 14th. My AP expires May 15th so I want to get in on last long stay! Hopefully we'll bump into each other over biegnets one morning. :)

I will be at POFQ 5-10 to 5-19 I had booked this with the 20% off discount. Called first thing this morning and was not able to get the AP rate except for river view rooms and that was more than the rate I already had. I really hate that POFQ has a different discount rate than the other mods. Hoping that they have reduced inventory due to the rehab and things will return to normal. Hope to see you all there!!

Sounds great! We're also meeting two other DISers (PennConn and Doc) there. Sounds like quite a few DISers are going to be there that week.:cool1: I'll make sure to have a lime green Mickey on my bag.

Hi all! Sitting on cloud 9 over here at the deal I got yesterday! We recently sold our DVC, so I am a little rusty on all of the discount and regular booking processes. However, it didn't take long before I was back in the swing of things. We had booked Coronado Springs (we have never been there before) a couple of weeks ago for May 25-30. Had to pay rack rate because all that was available on the discount was a king room, and that doesn't work for us. Before we were DVC members, we got pretty used to staying at Deluxe resorts, however, this was to be a trip done on the cheap since we got a steal on our airfare. We were excited about trying Coronado....and then while I was on the phone checking the AP rates, I blurted out "maybe I could have you check the rate at the Polynesian". AAARRRGGHH!!! I couldn't help myself. Soooo.....we will be at the Polynesian from May 25-30! When I looked on the web site, it was something close to 2400 I believe. For some reason, the first time that I called I was quoted 1889.00. I had to call my husband and run it by him. When I called back, the rate was 1791.00! Perhaps the first CM used the general discount code instead of AP rate? Whatever - I'm just glad that I called back! And for around 700.00 more, we will be at the place that we ADORE! Not to mention, we are keeping it a secret from the boys (10 & 7), as this is their favorite resort, and the only thing that they didn't like about DVC was that we couldn't stay at the "Poly" anymore!:yay:

Congrats! Love the Poly, its worth the upgrade.

I also had a CM that was not aware of the newly released AP rate, when I called for Beach Club (we need two rooms, I have trouble booking multiple rooms online) the first figure she gave me was way off what I had found, I explained the total that I had found online, she checked again and found the correct rate. It pays to do some homework before making the call! Saved me $1400 dollars on the two rooms.

We are booked at POFQ for mid June. I just missed the GP discount, but I am hoping they offer more AP rates, then we will also upgrade.
You are so right about doing your homework. I always check on line before I call and when I speak to a CM I keep my screen open and check. It has saved me $ in the past.

LOL...I went ahead and booked May 3-9 for us with an AP rate and I also went ahead and booked our fall trip....with no code, yet....but I wanted the room reserved! BC for the fall! Both trips are gonna ROCK!!!! Can't wait!!

We got the AP rates for May. I also have July booked and now we are waiting those AP rates to hopefully come out. :hourglass

Phooey, I'm hoping for September rates! Hopefully I'll see something around June?
