AP rates for Home Away from Home resorts?

Does anyone know what historical AP discounts have been for the Home Away from Home resorts? Did they get the flat $100 off like the deluxes? I'm looking at value season, by the way.

Last January--we scored an AP rate at a Ft Wilderness Cabin of $139. This was Value season pricing.

Elisabeth, I've never tried for an AP discount at the Home Away from Home properties but just wanted to note that the Deluxe AP discounts have usually been a % off not the flat $100.

Personally, I've found it to be more economical to rent points from a DVC member than to hope for an AP discount - I have found them in the past, but have had much more luck renting points. I've rented numerous times from the DIS DVC members with no problems & we'll be doing it again this summer - 4 nights in a BCV studio $560 ($140/nt.) - can't beat that!

Last May I got an AP rate for an OKW 1 bedroom for $270 plus tax. Rack was around $385.

Elizabeth~ I second the suggestion of renting points from a DVC owner. I am an owner but don't rent our points. Check out the DVC board. Look up the dates you want, the resort and type of room in the point calculator on the DVC BB. Then roughly figure $10/Pt. So if your vacation were 100 Pts that would br $1000. Beware though the DVC resorts are awesome and you'll get the DVC fever and need to own so your stay could cost you big bucks when you just have to own.

It really doesn't work to rent points for weekends though. The number of points required for the same room doubles on the weekends, while the cash price remains the same. Since I'm out of points, I'm waiting to see if we can add nights at either end of our stay with an AP discount.
