When will AP rates be released for January and February?

When will AP rates be released for January and February?

Historically I believe they usually come out late October, right around Halloween time. (So any day is a possibility) Not sure what change the AP PIN discount they released a week or two ago will have on that timetable though.

I received an AP PIN code in my email on 10/15. I called that day to try to get that rate applied. That is when I found out that even though the code was emailed to me, it was in my friend's name and I was not allowed to use it. I talked to 2 CM's who both checked with their managers...

The next day I found out about the Disney Visa code, so I called and used that--gave up on the AP PIN email issue. When I called on Wednesday 10/21 I asked for the rates for AP, and didn't mention the PIN email or any of that. I was quoted the AP rate when I asked how it compared to the Disney Visa rate. (It was about $50 higher for 6 nights).

So, I was able to get the AP rate quoted without having the PIN code. But, since it is higher than my current rate, I did not switch.

I just called and they said none were out yet for regular AP. I called last week and was quoted $100 more than my AAA rate with "AP discount." That didn't make sense to me so I called back this morning.

I booked a (non AP) pin code on Friday, for January. I asked about AP rates and the CM said they're not out YET. He really stressed the "yet" part of the sentence, so hopefully that's a good sign.

I went thru this myself and went as far as to question amount and asked for per night rate and she quoted me rack rate, I told her #1 that seemed high for AP rate in value season # 2. my AAA rate was better.
