AP rates for August

I'm checking everyday - any ideas about when the AP rates for August will be coming out? They were out by now last year.

They were out by now last year.

Actually they came out on June 20,2007 last year - so you have to wait patiently just a few more days (I know easier said than done, right? Especially when you are ready to book NOW)

Late Summer Passholder Discounts Released

Disney has released room-only discounts, at select resorts, for Annual Passholders vacationing between August 5 - September 29, 2007. Discounts include select Value Resorts for $64+, Moderate Resorts at $94+ and $164+ for Deluxe Resorts per night. The number of rooms offered at these rates is limited.

August/September passholder, Florida resident discounts announced

Disney has released discounted room rates for passholders and Florida residents for August and September. Discounts are available for select Disney Vacation Club and Deluxe resorts for most nights from August 5 to September 29, and at Moderate and Value resorts for most nights August 5–9, August 12–29 and September 2–29.

For passholders and Florida residents, the DVC rates start at $164 per night plus tax in a studio at the Old Key West or Saratoga Springs Resorts. Prices go up from there depending on the resort and accommodations.

In addition to those two DVC resorts, discounts are also available at all deluxe resorts, with passholder rates $5 per night less than Florida resident rates. Some sample rates are Garden view rooms at the Polynesian ($249 passholder/$254 resident), Contemporary ($225/$230) and Grand Floridian ($295/$300).

Value resorts start at $64 for both passholders and Florida residents. Rates at the Moderates start at $94 per night for passholders and $99 per night for Florida residents.

Minimum stay requirements apply for Friday and Saturday arrivals. All rates can be booked up until the date of arrival. Passholders and Florida residents can book via your respective web sites, by calling your travel agent or by calling 407-560-7277 for passholders or 407-560-7722 for Florida residents.

Discount codes are FDR (passholder) and FDT (Florida residents).

Room-Only and Package Discounts Released

Disney has released additional specials for guests vacationing July 29 - September 29, 2007. Create a perfect vacation with a Room-Only discount or Magic Your Way Package at select Walt Disney World hotels. These offers must be booked by July 28, 2007. Availability is extremely limited.

Did the rates last year include the dining plan as an option? I am getting ready to book for that time period with deluxe dining and wondered if I should just wait for a better rate?

I have Aug 3-10 at Pop century reserved at rack rate. My 45 days is June 20. If a general public discount comes up after June 20, can I still get the discount? Also, how much do they generally discount on the rooms or whatever. Thanks for any help!

I'm waiting right there with you except I am going in Sept.
Last June 20th was on the 3rd Wed so I'm hoping that AP rates will be on the 3rd Wed this year-- JUNE 18!!!
One can always wish!!!!

We'll be ther Aug 5-12 at POR. Right now we have AAA, but we're hoping for a better AP rate. If it's good enough we might move back up to a monorail resort!
