AP RATES ARE OUT (Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec 08)!!!!

Just got AP rate for Nov ressie - brought my BWI night on 11/15 down to $331.88 (inclusive) from the $374.62 AAA rate I had - every little bit helps! DELIGHTFUL CM, Georgiana - kudos to Disney CRO today!!

I'm at POFQ where the AP rate is apparently not available. I could have switched to Carribean Beach and saved $300, or to the Yacht Club and add $1200. I chose to stay put.

That's right. I just called and checked. Agent said AP rates were released this morning. For me, no AP availability at GF or Poly during my oct stay.

No luck for me. First time I was not able to use the AP rate. Staying at POFQ 12-1 to 12-11. No rates available for any of the nights. Only mod showing up was CSR. Prices were all over the place. First of the trip was $99 per night. Weekend was $149. Last few nights was 119.00. Could have saved around $300, but decided to stay put at POFQ. The AP rate was available for POFQ 10-20 to 10-28, but my bounceback rate was cheaper. Oh well, I least I tried!!!

I just got AP rate for my Oct trip- OKW studio $184.+tax per night
Dec. is very slim pickins for AP holders. Hopefully they will release some more later on today.

Well, every little bit helps, but I have to say I was hoping for more, lol. I already had a AAA discount. Here's what I got:

POP 11/16-11/25 9 nights (so $6.90 savings per night)
AAA Discount $955.35
AP Discount $893.25
Savings: $62.10

POR 11/30-12/6 6 nights (so $22.74 savings per night)
AAA Discount $804.66
AP Discount $668.22
Savings: $136.44

CBR 12/6-12/14 8 nights (so a whopping $3.04 savings per night)
AAA Discount $1072.88
AP Discount $1048.58
Savings: $24.30

When we got to the CBR she first said there were no AP discounts, then she put me on hold through two full and one partial song lmao and came back with this tiny little discount.

I'm tempted to call back and see if there is a better rate for another resort instead of CBR. Anybody get a good rate for CSR???


Ok...so I called back and asked about an AP rate for CSR.....nope. According to the CM I spoke with there are NO MODERATE AP rates for December 6 through December 14. She also checked December 7 to 14th so see if it was because the 6th is a Saturday, and still none. Yikes! That scares me because that means they expect it to be awfully crowded right???

Oh well, since I was willing to spend the money for the AAA discount rates, I will try to not be disappointed that my AP didn't yield better. After all $222 is a decent savings. Of course, now I'll be calling again when the Disney VISA rates come out to see if I can do better with that!

Kelly - what were your October dates? Where were you able to get an AP discount? I just called and tried to get GF, Poly or YC/BC for 10/22-10/27 and NOTHING! They only availability they had for a party of 5 was Saratoga Springs. I'm sticking with our group rate at BWI (DH running the 13K TOT Race). Oh well, maybe we'll be lucky and get a newly refurbished room.

Called right at 7am ... Dates Nov.7-10 at the CBR ...
$165 per night friday and saturday ... I told the CM that was rack rates ...
Nothing for any resorts on the "weekends" ... Friday and Saturday ...
(Sund. would have been $129 but I have a code for that night already for $99.)

I called and nothing for our dates. Dec. 8-11 or Nov. 6-9.

checked Value & Mods for Dec. trip & want Epcot for Nov. They had water view at BC or YC for 375. + tax. I've got Dolphin for 259.00. + tax. I think I'll stick with that. I'll check later and see if something else opens up, but not counting on it.

No availability at the Polynesian for our dates at all December 8th - 18th, our second choice was CBR and the rate was really good but they no have preferred rooms available at that rate either. So, I guess rack rate for us either way.

I am going Oct 31st - Nov 9th 2 rooms Pop,
rate $99 on weekends
$89 on weekdays, so $10 discount per night, I didn't even think they were doing the weekend rates any more.
Ethan was a good CM , helpful, and friendly, but I was also put on hold quite a bit, I just figured their systems were bogged down. Was expecting to get a better discount, if I got one, but didn't know if I would because of NJ week. Checked the moderates and he came back with CBR with a discount of about $5 per night, and only had CSR with junior suites. I didn't even ask a price. I never got an AP discount that didn't even cover the tax before, but I guess every bit counts. Donna

I just got off the phone with nothing.

Our trip in November for AS Music at $111 per night she said is now showing as $189 per night?! What? For a value? I think she was a bit touched in the head.

For our December trip she said we already had the passholder rate for our 5 nights at POR - somewhere around the rack rate of $165 per night based on the total package cost.

I think I will call back a little later and try a different CM!

Just tried to get the BCV for a 1bedroom. Nothing available, although I'm not really suprised. We haven't gotten an AP rate at a villa since Feb. of "05. They did have the BC for our dates Dec. 6-17. I didn't want to change so I didn't ask a price. Maybe somebody can get a good rate. I'll just stick with my AAA.

I agree - no great bargain! Looks like things are pretty booked up this year between F&W 9/26 - 11/9, NJEA convention 11/6 & 7 (tons of NJ people take the kids out for the week and head to WDW), then they moved Super Soap weekend to 11/15 & 16, and Pop Warner is booking up the values 12/8 -14.

I was glad to even get a room on 11/15 @ BWI - we're getting bumped out of the Swan/Dolphin for the night because they are both booked solid - didn't know they would move SSW when I chose that weekend.

It gets busier every year!
