AP Rate Watch (summer) ?

Just checking, anyone recently check if ap rates out for summer yet, or anyone give a "hint" on when we might see them, or a code?

Can't remember when the next "mickey monitor" is due, I think february? Maybe then?

Gosh, I hope we don't return to the "old days" 2 months before the time and then maybe a discount. Ugh!

I have heard that maybe this Sunday new AP rates will come. I don't know what months this will cover.

Check out www.mousesavers.com for March codes. The AP code is not out, but there are other codes offering special rates for March.

I'm hoping for AP rates for July soon because AP renewal is in Feb and it doesn't make since for our family to get one unless we can get a great discount on hotel Heres hoping for rates this weekend for Feb - August

I'm playing the waiting game too. We have DVC and are staying at WLV in May, but want to add a couple nights at CBR if I can get a good AP rate.

DH is also going with friends in July without me (waaah) and is looking for a good All-Stars rate.

I hear maybe Sunday or Monday for new AP rates. Let's all keep our fingers crossed!

Do they just release a limited number of rooms at the AP rate?

In general do these rooms get snapped up within days? weeks?

Another thread here on the resorts board says that AP rates for reservations thru 4/9 will be available on Monday 1/27.

In the past, AP rates for the summer months haven't been released until sometime in March. Even though they were released much earlier last year, I'm guessing that they won't be available for at least a month or two.

Thanks for the head's up, Pluto's Pup. I already had looked at Mousesavers, and although the rates for March are pretty good, I have to book two rooms, so I was really hoping for an AP discount as the rate is usually alot less than the discount rate offered right now. I'm biting the bullet and waiting it out, although I may have shot myself in the foot by not booking at the rate on Mousesavers. We do own DVC's, but are saving the points for our summer vacation with all the kids. Need a two-bedroom for that!

yes, usually all ap rates or even codes only have a limited amount of rooms available for the rate. Now with the internet and the info available, they are snagged up that much quicker, so keep "watching" just in case.

dahess, yes concerige rooms are usually also included but also but limited. Only suites are not included in the discounts.

If they don't I would hang up and call back to another more with it CM, Other wise start over with a new ressie and then cancel the old one. What ever it takes.

Just looked at mousesavers.com and Mary says the AP codes should be out tommorrow and they will be for 2-17 thru 4-9-03.
I am patiently waiting for codes for late May.

Mousesavers does have it listed today showing AP discounts up to 40% off dates 2/17 to 4/9 Rates apply to ALL disney resort hotels, subject to availability on your dates. mky
