AP rate at Grand Californian

I read a thread below that mentions getting an AP rate at GC for $169 a night. Is this with the deluxe AP, or premium AP? We were just at DL last week and bought the deluxe AP, and would like to stay on-site next year. Thanks.

When there is a special AP Promotion (As in the Super Sundays one you are referring to), then it goes for a Deluxe as well, however, when there isn't a special promotion, only the Premium will get a discount, which is 10 %.

I got a rate of $179 at the GC, pool view with my AP. The reservationist did not ask me what kind of pass I had just that I would need to produce my AP at check-in. My dates are Aug11-15.

Last Monday (June 24) the AP rate at the GC for 7/5 - 7 was $259. Today it was $169. Not as good as the $99 rate I had at PP, but better than when I first started calling! Neither agent asked what kind of pass I had. I was able to request a room with bunk beds; when I asked the agent said Let me check if we have those available and she said they did. We had this room back in March and DS8 just LOVED it!! Can't wait!!
