AP rate and grand gathering questions

I currently have a grand gathering with a room AP rate...our group has three rooms and today we think four more people are coming and will need another room--can you add another room to that under one AP holder? Or can I just add another room at the AP rate to the grand gathering?
Do I have to get another AP?---we are leaving in about nine days so...time is of the essence!!!

My husband & I each have AP's. When we made our room ressies for our Grand Gathering event, the CM had us book in separate rooms. That way we could book 6 rooms altogether, 3 each with AP rate. Would that work for you? At the time we booked, 3 was the max per AP.
